Hi. I’ve been writing as a freelance journalist and content provide for twenty years. It’s hard to believe I began my career at nine years old, but that’s my story.

My web site, sarigordon.com, is the best place to see what I’ve written. I don’t quite know what this blog will be yet, probably writing about writing and writing about reading. For now, this is a fancy way of saying “page under construction.”

As a journalist, I’ve been witness to some pretty amazing things. Working for an alternative metro weekly, as any journalist knows, can be a wide and wonderful way to explore the world and the words we use to describe it. I’ve enjoyed writing features and a few regular columns for the now-defunct (a story in itself) publication, The Twin Cities Reader. Though our circulation was confined to the Twin Cities in Minnesota, I bumped up against more than a few national stories, but what I love most is the fringe
